Back Coffee Cozy Joins Tea Cozies on Beverage Scene! by Irene Luckett When you think of a cozy, you may imagine a round teapot sitting on a kitchen table beside a plate of warm cookies and a mug of hot spicy tea. Or you may be reminded of the high teas of the Victorian era -- delicate China teapots and plates filled with finger sandwiches beautifully set out on lace tablecloths. But did you know cozies not only keep tea hotter, longer but also keep coffee hot? Sometimes coffee drinkers enjoy carrying their coffee carafes from electric coffee makers into the bedroom, so they can snuggle down under a soft blanket with an interesting book and a mug of hot coffee. Or perhaps they move to the TV room or a crafting area. Some of these creative drinkers recently discovered what tea drinkers have known for centuries. They began covering their carafes with a large tea cozy designed to completely cover a teapot. Linda in South Carolina, who bought a cozy online, is typical of these resourceful folks.
