Back 10 Things Every Mama Needs by Crank Mama More than anything else, every mama needs: Time for herself every day to meditate, sit quietly, or simply stare out the window. A supportive partner or husband to help raise the children, do the dishes, and help her when she's exhausted. Space to call her own free of peanut butter, bread crumbs, and dirty laundry. Pretty shoes that are impractical and saucy or something else that is lovely and just for her. A nice outfit in which she feels gorgeous and young or sassy and hip. A gaggle of smart, sassy girlfriends who don't look at her crossways when she begs for a girl's night out. Good healthcare for her children so she doesn't have to wake up at 2AM worried about their health. A warm house to keep her children secure so she can rest assured that they are safe in her nest. Loving caregivers for rest and respite and the occasional date night to give her a night or an afternoon off to remember that it's all worth it. Enough money to buy more than just the necessities for some fun amidst all the hard work.
