Back For What Grounds Should You Invest In Rio Grande Do Norte? by Chelsea Butterworth The state of Rio de Grande Norte is on the cusp of becoming a mainstream tourist destination. Unlike more traditional Brazilian tourist destinations, Natal is closer to Europe and North America and offers a cheaper option for flights, good food, restaurants and hotels. This added to its unspoilt beaches, average temperatures of 30 °C and the development of the world’s future fourth largest airport. This is intended to increase tourism to five millions travellers each year, which is probably why more vacation packages and direct flights are being offered. -Natal is famous for coconut palm trees dotted along the coastline and sapphire waters offering gentle sea breezes. -Activities such as sand dune buggying and water activities are readily accessible. -The government in Natal, Brazil is currently building the fourth largest airport in the world since the tourism demand from the U.S. and Europe has expanded so much. -The bridge connecting Natal City and the beach resorts to the north completed in 2007, thus having the journey time to 25 minutes. -Tourism and prices to the south are currently almost three times the price to the north! Is there really any good reasons to invest in Rio do Grande Norte? Daily Life With flights of seven hours from Europe, because it's 4000km closer to Europe, Natal's flights are both shorter and cheaper, so it's becoming a popular destination for holidaying Europeans. Another of Natal's claims to fame is that it is Brazil's safest capital city. The Natal city has almost one million people in population, this city has therefore earned its nickname as The City of the Sun with an average temperature on thirty degress Beaches The breath-taking coastal route north of Natal City is one of Brazil's most spectacular natural attractions. The famous Genipabu Dunes and the Cabo de Sao Roque with its untouched white sand beaches, are ideal locations for swimming, a variety of water sports with many horse rides along the beach and dune buggies to ride on. Relaxing with world-class scuba diving on the Maracajau Reef is very popular, or, for the more active, kite surfing and windsurfing are also popular. Tourism and Infrastructure Development European tourism levels, mainly from Portugal, Spain, Germany, Norway, Sweden & UK are increasing at a rapid pace. American Airlines is expected to be the first US airline next year to operate direct flights to Natal via Miami, five hour flight time, whilst British Airways will fly direct from London. Large holiday companies such as Thomson, have introduced some interesting holiday packages covering charter flights at a very interesting rate. We are witnessing the beginning of a huge global tourism market. Because of this, demand for resorts, rental rates and property prices are rapidly rising. Brazil's tourist economy will be further boosted in 2014 when the country hosts its second football World Cup. FIFA's decision to grant the staging of the World Cup to Brazil shows the country has the facilities to cope with the massive number of fans expected to attend. Of the nineteen cities that are interested, Natal will probably be hosting games with the planned construction of a 51,000 capacity stadium.
