Converting web traffic into sales

If you have read any of my past articles on building traffic for a website and how fundamental it is to building steady sales on the Internet. Once again, it is simple volume through the sales funnel, and you will be making sales. It is the law of averages. Now we are going to look at how you can convert MORE of the traffic into solid sales!

Conversion rates on a website vary - especially with the amount of web traffic you have. If you are only getting 25 visits per day, and converting 2 visits into sales - the conversion rate is about 7%. If you jump up to 2500 visits, your conversion rate might drop to less than 1%, but that still means that you are making nearly 25 sales per day.

The key, in general terms, is to increase the conversion rate, regardless of how many visits you have. This way, if you have 25 or 2500, you are still getting MORE conversions overall. Here are three things I would suggest to improve the sales conversion on your website:
